Sports games never really got my attention that much honestly. I never saw a point in clicking a certain button to do a certain play when you could actually be outside enjoying the game itself first-hand. I personally would rather play football, soccer, tennis, etc. outside rather than making someone play for me.

On the otherhand one series has kept my attention in sports games; that would be Mario Kart. I love this series. The gamepplay is just amazing, and when you are with other 'skilled' players the races become very intense. There is nothing else like hoping to God himself that you can make it to the finish line before that dreaded blue shell hits you.

Also I own some Top Spin games (tennis) because I can't always go to Pennbriar to play during the winter months.

I agree with Java.
I'm not much of a fan of sports games,
If I want to actually play the sport,
I'm gonna go outside and do so.
But I also do love Mario Kart,
Even though I don't own it.

Blitz 2001 - N64

Razz

that is the one and only that i've played for a good amount of time before. you hear the bones crack when you 'tackle' someone. its got easy controls that stuff like that, so it isn't hard to play at all, and all ya gotta do is enjoy the sound of bones cracking, cuz they do a nice job on the sound, lol.

Hmm.
I can imagine bone cracking being entertaining.
However many are not privy to finding N64 games on sale short of using eBay,
They're just a pain to find.
