...of course, that may be because I'm really bad at this genre o.o

nah, I just don't enjoy shooting people. Blood and gore isn't my idea of a good time.

But of course, everyone is entitled to thier opinions. =P

I just find it the most fun.
Especially on the Xbox console,
Where the controller and console are designed for this sort of game.
The PC however,
Is great for all other gaming genres.

Eh not a large fan of FPSs. Though I did enjoy F.E.A.R, and I am a follower of the Call of Duty series, but that's mostly it. In shooters i'm generally more of a shmup kind of guy. I doubt anyone here plays masochistic shooters though. -.-'

Obviously the Xbox was not designed for shooters considering that it used a gamepad for controls. 256 degree analog stick is miniscule to 3200 dpi mice, not even close.
Why do you think there is auto aim on consoles, but not on PC?

Who came first? PC.
Who did it first? PC with Wolfenstein and Doom.

What worthwhile shooter does the consoles have? Halo...

Halo is considered a joke to pc gamers.

Well the PC is great,
But so is the Xbox,
And it is the top as far as consoles go.
And on top of the Halo games,
There's the Call of Duty saga,
Gears of War, even though it's not really first person,
And still many others.

Anyone else here going to pick up The Conduit? It appears to be a pretty decent FPS, and there is online play. Luckily now I might be able to use Wii Speak without hearing whining ten year olds screaming into the microphone. Well I can at least hope. -.-'

I prefer console shooters over pc ones. I never liked the idea of moving with arrow keys. I need a joystick to move ingame. The only games that I feel are ment for pc's are RTSs. The mouse is perfect for moving around your troops.
