| It causes very little green house gasses, And there's even newer reactors with no moving parts, So they have almost no chance of a meltdown. I think they can be the way to go. | |

| You aren't taking into account the other eight steps of the uranium enrichment process. Uranium mining has a larger carbon footprint than any other and the enriching of the uranium causes more chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) to be released into the air than any other fuel burning plant. CFCs are 15,000 times worse than CO2 at destroying the ozone | |
